Are her knee's jointed ? How tall is she and her wig is not original . Can I see her eyebrows too . Not sure if lips are repainted and alters her look .

Her face is very discolored appears yellowed and makes her look different also if she has jointed knee's and 20 inch tall and hat dreadfully wrong replaced wig off she would look more like Cissy who she seems to be. And they did mark her body MME Alexander. Also should be jointed at hips . Dates 1955 to 59 when they said she was 21 inches so 20 0r 21 would be right for her . But she could also be Elise so size and all her joints are important to know .
      Here is Elise

She appears to be in original Elsie ballerina dress also so I am going to say it is Elise and she is not in great condition but her dress should be tagged also .

Look in her dress there should be a tag with her name and Alexander if still there. Yes she will not sell high do to replaced wig and discoloration . We all have to go through learning collecting dolls and dolls and knowing correct body ,hair damage ect . I have been doing it 30 years and worked with them in museum and antique and collectible doll shop and always more to learn . We had a post a few days ago that was one I had never seen and he is not referenced in any books and I learned about a doll that is not seen often . Good luck with your collecting it can be great fun ! and welcome to CW !
