Beautiful early 20.5” x 16.5” porcelain charger, Imari style colouring with the chinese peacock styled design. From my great uncle’s attic but planning to keep it. Repair looks quite awesome.

Welcome some identification as there are no apparent marks

welcome to CW. This repair has been done some time ago, a common way of repairing porcelain at around 1900, this is very old.

Reminds me of a Czech Plate I had here with some Red/blue and Birds on it....but just a guess ....when there is no mark

For some reason I think it could be English, but because no marks its difficult to say, to the right person it would be easily identified, the strong colour of blue although it appears black in the picture is amazing, I probably will never find out about it, but find your comments helpful thankyou

It still could be, I am just throwing another possible idea out there.....you may be right. But may take some time when unmarked...
