Anyone know who made this lamp? It belonged to my fiancé's grandfathers mothers. I recently restored it to working condition and brought it to his new apartment in a senior living community and it brought tears to his eyes. He asked me to find out what it may be worth for insurance reasons.

That is quite a lamp! We can't give appraisals on CW - you would have to take it to a licensed appraiser for a valuation.

Hi I would not think it needed extra insurance if would fall under property owned on a policy . Usually you would take out additional insurance on a valuable collection or maybe lots of expensive jewelry ect but the lamps value would be covered by regular home owners ins . Being a care facility I would see if you need a property insurance policy if they have lots of belongings there . Hopefully it is tucked away in a corner where no one would knock it over if she has care givers in room . I have a shade very close to yours packed but one panel is broke and to replace a curved glass panel is very expensive more work that a flat piece of slag glass .

you're very welcome... hope you noticed that the link did have auction estimate and realized amounts, which may give some insight into value.

Look under shade for makers mark in leading. And under felt on foot of lamp. If you have the original cord and sockets can give you age.
