A whimsical pair of Sarah Coventry patent pending cufflinks from 1962.
These are the Mounty and his dog.
In the late 40's, Mr. Stuart opened a company and named it after his granddaughter Sarah Coventry. (I say Mr Stuart because there is conflicting info whether his name was Charles or Lyman) They never did sell this jewelry and accessories in the big box stores, they sold like Tupperware and Avon, door to door aka direct sales.
The whimsical pieces from the 60's and 70's are "prized" by collectors, as written in an article right here on CW.

Ken, I hope you get this message, it's been awhile... Oh yes, you are under "Broochman" now, that's it. Thanks so much for your comment here and then the second one! I never did know the name of these, only that I did see someone sold a pair of them just like this for quite a bit of money a long time ago! I actually still have mine!!! I had them listed at one point but when things don't sell, I take them out of the picture, most of the time anyway. I just feel that paying to list is okay, but not over and over. Maybe I will relist them now that I have their true name. Who knows. You know how to contact me tho if you'd like them, it's no problem! And will go with your collection. It's not only men that wear these anyway right?!? ;) Sorry it took me so darn long to get back to this. One day, hopefully soon, I will not have so many things pulling at me in so many directions at one time!!! Hopefully!!!
