This is my newly acquired ring on it's way to me from the UK.
from Inglenookery@etsy.com
Danish 830 silver modernist ring by Julius A L Klagenborg, who worked in Copenhagen, Denmark, between 1944 and 1973. This handmade ring is a great example of mid-century Scandinavian silver, with a design with spirals on either shoulder flanking three silver beads. This modern design has elements of Viking design in it, a striking marrying of ancient and space age. I think this example probably dates from the 1960s.
Can't wait to get it! I'll add photo when it's here...
Enjoy
Lovely! Looking forward to seeing the new photos!

So....................Modernist !! Love it!!
It's a wonderful ring! I agree there is some "viking" in it but I also see strong influenses from Taxco silversmithing. I must say that even if I'm scandinavian :). I see this influense in many of the modernist pieces. I collect both scandinavian modernist silver and Taxco silver (when I can find some) and that's why I have come to think of it. Don't know if anyone has written anything on the subject so maybe I will someday :).
