Can anyone tell me the age of this Montgomery Ward Refrigerator??
I looks like everything is intact except one of the glass tops is missing at the bottom on top of the drawers. (Photo does not show the glass).
I understand that the bottom may be a bread drawer?
Also, can anyone tell me where I could go to get it working?
Model Type WH30

Thank you.
Beautiful fridge here. The tilt-out dry storage bin (for vegetables, breads, etc) at the bottom is a dead give away for a mid to late 1940s model. Based off other cosmetics, I would estimate 1947 on the production year. Montgomery Ward never actually made their own refrigerators, so I would guess that Frigidaire produced this particular line for MW. Your model shows a lot of similarities to Frigidaires from the same era. Beautiful piece; very classic!

Why would you place breas and vegs. where the compressor builds up all that heat? That would make them mold faster. My mother kept pots and lids in that area. We have an old wiazard in our pool house we use to keep drinks and extra food for the outings.
