When I bought this (second hand) I was told it was a "James Webb" oil painting. I had no idea who he was, it was relatively cheap for such a beautiful painting and I love it. As time has gone on, I have studied up on the said artist and am not sure it is old enough or truly his quality of work. It really does not matter because I love it regardless, but, I have to admit I would love to learn more about it if possible.
