Disclaimer: I did not coat the hinges with that gaudy gold leaf paint, or perform any of the 'restoration' work on the trunk - smile.
I hope the hinges help those of you who are helping me identify the manufacturer and where I could get more information and sell the trunk.
Thanks so much! Rick

F.W Beckwith hinge patented July 14 1885
Not a Martin Maier patented hinge. But very nice trunk hardware all the same.
I have seen this hardware on M.M. Secor and a few other better manufacturers.
Much luck with it.
Thank you so very much, Drill!
So glad I found this site as it is proving to be an invaluable resource as I go through all I inherited from my folks! Rick

Always glad to help.
