copper plate tea set with silver tone trim/square base

3 piece tea set. I love the square base which I think makes it unique.
The bone finial on the teapot lid makes the set look vintage... or maybe even antique? I believe the handle on the pot is bakelite, but I'm not sure.
The delicate silver colour trim also adds to its unique look... but I think it may be chrome or nickel as it does not tarnish.
I've very curious about the lion's head mark on the bottom. I have not been successful in identifying it.
Can anyone identify this set or the lion's head mark for me please?
