This is the foyer light in our Victorian home we recently purchased. I have no idea how old or any history on it. I do not see any markings but have not been able to inspect it closely as it hangs pretty high. Has beautiful painted globe with a bird motif. Also a bird motif in the metal scroll above the globe.
It dates from the late 1920's to the mid 1930's. It reminds me of a company called Lightolier. Here is one that went to auction, it isn't exactly like yours, but is of the same period:
