I bought this vase at an online auction. The previous owner was a Colonel in the Air Force and he and his wife lived in China for 30 years and purchased this vase while living there. The description said FL81-2 Ming Dynasty Vase. I have since found out that it is a Japanese vase - probably Imari Arita. Does anyone know how old it might be or any other information would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your help! Chris

Your vase is Japanese, I think imari arita.

Thank you Kyratango! It makes more sense that the Colonel was stationed in Japan and not China. I really appreciate your help!
