      I'm afraid you own a China fake. It's very pretty, and if your mom gave it to you as you say (she acquired it no later than the 80s), then appreciate it as a keepsake.

      *meant to say no earlier than the 80s as that's when these began to appear.

      Yes, agree with katherine. I live in the Netherlands and see many of these - the back stamp is smudged/blurry/out of focus, which is the clue that a piece is a knock-off.
