I bought this ring from the same little old woman who sold me the 18k gold ring for 50 cents...it appears that these rings, even bought second hand, are very expensive!! YIKES...

I don't know why CW doesn't allow hotlinks in the opening post.

Let's see what you got here, Bonnie:

Wow katherinescollections, your certainly are going to make Elesgirl a very happy person. Well done.

Well done on your purchase Elesgirl, you certainly have a eye for a bargain.

Peasejan - I already knew the second hand value - I researched this ring as soon as I hit the door this afternoon. The links I posted in my text don't automatically go to the webpages. Katherine couldn't open them, so reposted. Glad she did, because I didn't realize they were not in "hot link" status. LOL

Oops I didn't read your write up Elesgirl, sorry. I do agree with what katherinescollections says about CW not allowing us to use links in our write up, it can be very frustrating. Well done with the ring.

Peasejean, I'm happy to take the credit, Bonnie beats me at everythig else, lol! ;)
    7. katherinescollections katherinescollections, 9 years ago
      *everything.

And yet another CW frustration, not being able to edit our posts. :/
    8. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 9 years ago
LOL katherine! I had no idea that the links could not be accessed via the narrative, so you have taught me something. :)

Peasejan55, I agree, also. It would be much easier if the links could be accessed via the write-up.

Hehe, it will fit your bargains grasping paw, lol!
      A warrior's ring for booth tables struggled ; -))
    10. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 9 years ago
LMAO kyra!! Matter of fact, it does fit me. :-D :-D I tell you what, sometimes it feels like a struggle of life and death at some of those flea markets. People with their friggin' double wide baby carriages, little kids that are everywhere except with their parents, people trying to push their way to a table where there is no space and still other people dragging those shopping bags on wheels around and either tripping up or mowing down everyone who crosses their path...a regular war zone. Bah hahahaha!!

I'm laughing so much at your comment above Elesgirl, I'm in stitches. I can just imagine all those eager people with Kids tow with double pushchairs and shopping trollies get in your way to achieve your goal, I certainly wouldn't like the idea of being anyway near you. Only joking, I think it would be a fun experience going to a Flea Market with you.

LMAO Peasejan55! I have battled my way through flea markets for many years. Not long ago, an old bag with an A-frame walker LITERALLY ran the dang thing into me to get me to move away from a table, where I was quietly inspecting what was for sale. THEN this old crone wanted to buy what I had in my hand and was already paying for - wtf??? Then she got upset because I wouldn't give it to her. Find your own treasures, you old battleaxe! Sheesh, some people! A week later, I found myself behind her in the checkout line at the supermarket!!! No joke.
    13. Peasejean55 Peasejean55, 9 years ago
Lol good experiences, wait till you have to battle with the mobility scooters. I've been knocked into the aisle a few times in my local supermarket in the UK, with these idiots. Also I've had a few near escapes while walking down the road, they turn into complete maniacs when they get behind their scooters. Then you see them with (fag) Ciggerette in hand swigging a bottle of beer riding without a care in the world, while the rest of us are looking over our shoulders. It shouldn't be allowed, mobility scooters should banned from people who don't need them, rant over lol.
    14. kyratango kyratango, 9 years ago
Lol, lol, so True! Love the old battleaxe part!
In France, we say "vieux tromblon"...
Now, I'm only on internet, and hate last second higher snipers ; -))
But, no more 1$ bargains :-/

Peasejean55 - I agree with that!! Neither of us look good in tire tracks....

kyra - I will see what this coming weekend brings me. By the way, I have a sterling silver and a copper brooch in need of a bit of enamel repair. Do you do that sort of thing and how difficult is it?
    17. kyratango kyratango, 9 years ago
Post them on CW I will give you hints :-)

Oh wow, you did really well! I trie to put the baby in a carrying bag when walking in flea markets...easier to maneuver...a bit difficult to bend over though... Old people are the worst! I have been pushed axay numerous times by old ladies...even with my baby or being very pregnant...some people have no respect, often older people who talk most about it ;-)
    20. Efesgirl Efesgirl, 9 years ago
Ken - Thanks! I've seen shield rings which cover the entire finger, but nothing before from Burberry. Their clothes are EXPENSIVE and so, apparently, is their jewelry!
