I was little - maybe 3-4 years old - she was old - according to my calculations 88 years old and still in good mental health. She gave me this cat. Lovely porcelain cat with huge eyes. This had been my favourite visiting her.

She doesnt know it, ofcourse she is dead. But this has made me always remember her. So - cherish the kids - give them stuff and they will forever cherish you! Atleast in the old days. These days kids are spoiled.

Anyway. Anyone recognise the make? My scriblings underneath only. Just for authenticity. I love it - If it were to break I would cry. So this is worth more than money atleast to me. :) I think the bond around the neck is original aswell.

Oh it's gorgeous and so good to cherish it.
It looks Japanese to me with the hollow mould and hand painted features.
