    Approx 16" high 6.5" wide. Putty color crackled base color hand painting over glaze. Any info as far as history, dates and approx value would be greatly appreciated!!

      Hi, I haven't found out anything! I pretty much gave up but don't want to sell it because then I'll find out it's worth money!! Lol! It was a yard sale buy for $2.00! If you find out anything would you please let me know?? Good luck! Vicki

      Hi, there are several dozen Kutani marks on this site, I gave it a look but couldn't match your mark, but may have missed something:

      Thank u so much for your feedback! I have spent hours pouring over kutani marks. I want to believe it is meiji period, but i hesitate because of the english lettering. I am a novice, so i dont want to pretend like i know too much. Iloveoldies, I notice that your vase also has an area on the bottom that is darkened - same as my vase. Must be a clue here! Well, you are smart to keep it - it is lovely!!
