I always buy textiles if I never seen one like it before, sometimes it turns out to be a $5 textile, but who cares.
I want to know when this one was made, what kind of material was used etc.
My eyes and back get so tired of searching, this is why I love this site.

I am not 100% but could the fabric be this

Grosgrain is now generally used for ribbons but a quick search I found a few vintage tablecloths made of this.

I think this has been a relatively recent hand made cloth Picker.
The lace is a nylon machine made by the look of it, and zig zag machines were not common until the 50s or later. I am not sure if this fabric is a pure cotton or not....the best way to test is to snipe some threads and burn them. Any sort of man made mix will melt before burning.
