Can anyone tell me anything about this coffee pot? I bought it at a tag sale in CT because it was interesting, as you can see it does not have a normal perk basket with the tube, it just has a basket that is the length of the pot with holes everywhere except the bottom, you just remove the top add coffee close it and let the water boil around it. It is enamel and the glass says Made in USA Pyrex. It appears to be a step up from when they just threw the coffee in the pot and had to strain the grounds. I have checked the Pyrex site, ebay, google, etsy and can't find anything. So any information would be appreciated.

Looks to be enamelware. Try looking up enamelware coffee percolator .
Enamelware was made from the 1880s to the 1950s. Still made now for camping but that one is vintage.
      Also look up graniteware.
