We received these 2 vases from my husbands Nan just before she passed in 1996. She told us that she had received them from her brother who brought them home from England after the war. (Don't know which war! ) They've been sitting on top of the China Cabinet ever since. They are very pretty and I would like to find more information on them if possible. They stand 5 inches tall, the bottom is hexagon shaped and is 1 and 1 quarter inches across. The top is the same shape and is 1and 3 quarters inches across. They are a very dark blue color with yellow and orange circles. 1 also has a small green circle. Both have black lines (look like tree twigs). Both also have a yellow and an pale green quarter inch coloured line around the top. On the bottom they are both stamped with a Crown with a star on top. Also says Coronet and Registered under the Crown. Around the top of the Crown it says Trade Mark. Surronding the Crown is a Leaf Pattern meeting at the bottom with a Ribbon. On the outer side of the Leaf patter it says England, and Art Pottery. Also on both vases is etched (by hand, in red ink) the # 12.
Coronet was a brand name of Maling but I don't think these are.
They may possibly be Limoges. See this link:
