This a is a fully restored B25 J of WWII vintage. This one never left the USA as is typical of surviving American planes from WWII. This one was a one point a crop duster but it is now restored to WWII combat condition. This includes the oxygen bottles, Norden bombsight and a fully operational top turret.
This was a smaller plane than the B17 and B24 and required a lot of crawling to get from one position to another. Most difficult is getting to the bombardier's position in the nose which I think is about 8' long as I crawled through it and I am 6' tall. It is a tad claustrophobic especially with all the flying gear one would be wearing.
Tail section not quite as narrow but one would not be able to fire the waist machine guns standing up. Rear machine gun post in the third photo.
In the last photo that is me in the pilot's seat.
