SD & SS issued visa inside a 1943 Bulgarian passport. One of the rarest of visas that can be issued are those attributed to the SS and SD units in occupied Europe. Here is a fine example that was issued in Lemberg (formerly pre-war eastern Poland city of Lwow) and Krakau (the GG capital during the war).
Wow!! What great piece of history...:-)
hi Huddyhuddy. i think i sold you a passport online many years ago. it had belonged to the Captain in charge of the Alameda Naval Yard just after WWII and had many extended pages w/ visas from all over the world, particularly the Pacific Rim. is that you? i sent it to Israel.
Tnx inky!!!
Hello,
Would remember the year or the name of the holder?
If you have any more old passports, let me know.
If you are from Oakland, CA, then I yes.
Thanks!
yes, i'm from Oakland. i forgot the name, but he was a pretty important military guy if i remember right. i found that passport in the trash near the base, along w/ a bunch of pacific maps. i never did document the passport, unfortunately. if you remember who it was, can you post it?
