My friends grandfather bought a house ages ago and had to have this as part of the deal. I believe this is hand carved and it's just gorgeous! Mid early 1900's Japanese. Dragon arm rests. Mahogany or Rosewood I believe. 34"H x 27"W X 20"DEEP. WEIGHTS 40 LBS. 17"H FROM FLOOR TO SEAT.

      Beautiful carving!
But it is rather chinese than japanese... Too much decorated!

Fantastic chair. First image I've seen that the Dragon has caught the pearl.
