This is a first for me, a enamel ring, by Bernard Instone. The stone is a Citrine surrounded by gilded berries and yellow enamel flower petals. I think I need some advise from kyra regarding one of the top petals it doesn't have any enamel, what do you think I should do kyra? It is a pretty ring and looks great on, it was probably made in the 1930s he did a lot of enamel work in that decade. No makers Mark but marked sterling silver.
Many thanks for looking
Lovely !!
Very distinctive of him !
You must be happy to own it :-) Lovely yellow combo.
For the enamel, cold enamel or nail polish in right color droped with a tooth pick in very small amount will make the job :-)
Don't try to apply with a paint brush...
Thank you Moonstonelover for your lovely comment.
I will do what you say kyra, I think I did the same with the Bernard Instone pendant, yet again thanks for your help and lovely comment kyra.
You're very welcome Jean !
Many thanks
