Found this lovely ladle awhile back but just couldn't figure out the hallmarks so I cleaned it up and put it on the back burner.
It's old and heavy - approx. 8 oz., 11.5 inches length.
I uploaded photos in two directions because I'm not sure what is considered the top and bottom.
The mark appears to be SIS or CSIS or GSIS or ??
I wonder, is is sterling, coin, or plate? Does anyone recognize the marks?
    Thx, everyone!
