I really love the monotone pink enamel work on this Legras rose bowl - it is very pretty against the green glass. This rose bowl is 5-1/4" tall with a ground pontil, and is a soft green color with quite a few bubbles in the glass. The rim is edged in the same pink enamel as the poppies. It dates to about 1890-1910.
Very pretty indeed, and I love the 'echo' on the back :)
What a beautiful vases!Pink and green matches perfectly, they are so naturalne.
Natural,of course. My tablet doesn,t want to write English:)
sklo, thanks so much. I always like the little touches on the back of vases like this, too - 'echo' is a perfect description.
Thanks, Ivonne - I knew what you meant - and thank you! :)
Soooo! very beautiful Michelle...:-)
Thank you, inky! :)
Another lovely Legras vase Michelle! The flowers seem to have so much depth!
Rick, thanks so much - I agree, they do; they are actually quite thick enamel work, so that also adds to the perception of depth.
Nice collection!!!
Thanks so much, AmatoorPikr! :)
Love your sense of humor, Al! ;)
