    This is a antique brass or bronze not sure lamp base . It was my grandmothers and she owned it for years. I have had it for a long time the reverse painted farm seen glass shade has broke now for the second time, and I don't think I can fix it this time :(. I'm curious as to the manufacturer of the base. There are no markings anywhere. I'm not even sure if the top was original to the base. one of the sockets have been replaced on it. Not sure please help.

      Your lamp was made by the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. around 1910-1920. The top is original and they did many reverse painted farm scenes, so your shade is probably original too. Sorry to hear that it is broken. Keep your eye out on eBay, the shades come up every so often. But if you can't wait, reproduction shades are also available. Check out this one I found:
