Very nice gift!! Extremely interesting candelabra. Love it!!
These are very cool. You do know that the heat of the candles makes the whole top turn around! How awesome is it that you have the whole thing! Gotta run now...see you soon!
Yes, it would have 4 small tall candles in the bottom, and the heat of the candles make the fan go around, thus -- the Angels with the little copper sticks hanging off them turn around and the little copper sticks hits the *bells* as they go around. So it is Musical too.
Here is some info on it

and Nice little story here:

They made a lot of Christmas things, PLUS that line of ware called PIXIEWARE ( I think it one word not 2 words ).....LOL
Here is one like mine ( but with the Candles ) and box and instructions. It says there a date of 1949, so not sure the true date ( 1949 or 1958 ). Maybe mine is older, as I could find NO date on anything. I was going by info on the net I found. See what that goes for in a while.

Very interesting and different from any others!Do the pieces above candels move in the hot air from them?
That is so sad that something like this sells for such a low price! That chaps my hide. I've said it before, but come on, at least a dollar a year, right?!?
LOL.....Yeah would think so. It IS COPPER and copper is pricey. Plus how much more vintage can you get with these -- PLUS the Box -- Plus the Instructions. All of that should command a bit of $$ - You would think!!
You can see how they work here in this VIDEO:

Just assembled my old dearly loved Angle-abra & it works great! It is probably 65+ yrs old (I am 69). I still have its original box, all the parts and the booklet for assembly- all in near new shape thanks to my mom's TLC for years. Mine has a round copper base with the same kind of holders for 3 candles attached. Luckily I have my last 3 white candles for this year. I do not have the computer skills to take a photo & post it on the internet.
wow, those are great!
