    Tuskegee University Pottery Vase
    9 & 3/4 ths inches tall.
Rare vase with dancing figures done by someone named Henri at Tuskegee Institute. Pictured are four human figures, perhaps African dancers, interspersed with geometric forms and faces. Incised Tuskegee Institute Pottery on the bottom. Height 9 3/4 inches tall. Excellent condition with Modern theme. A very similar piece is pictured in Forster, "Alternative American Ceramics, 1870-1955", page 192. There is a very small chip of the glaze on the rim but not noticeable unless looking down at the rim.
