this one is signed E.Beck but i don't know anything about him...
i would say from ca. 1880?

dresden is a beautyful city with strange talking germans
and there are a few people with strange behavior as well
anyway your son will like it there, for sure
Just had a look what an eagle scout is... in german language "ein pfadfinder" (pathfinder)
I'm absolutely sure he will find friends there... he should visit berlin, hamburg, bremen,.. and if he likes fleamarkets dresden has a good one and europes biggest fleamarket is in leipzig once a month (120km away from dresden which is round about 75miles)
and if he comes near braunschweig (on the way to bremen for example) he can give me a short message via email.... at least he will get a very nice cappuccino in our flat...(freshly roasted ethiopian harrar beans or sidamo etc.)
