Found this in my father in law's garage. It's 17 x 10 inches. What do they call this and any clue on value. It's still mounted on the original wood. From the pic I figure it's age is between 1925 and 1930 or so.
It's for a printing press, like a Letter Press. A magazine advert or for a little newspaper. A custom typeset is placed in the opening.

If you face it to a mirror you should be able to read it all .
