Glass Oil Cruet Decanter with stopper with hobnail-like pattern on edges of panels. It appears it may be blown-molded but I am uncertain.

This looks like the main part of the decanter was blown into a mold, with the handle added afterward.

Yes, agree. It's a very pretty piece of glass. :)

Thanks for the info, any ideas of manufacturer/date? The closest I came was EAPG Glass Oil Cruet Decanter Zipper Panel but I don't really know what I should be searching for. Thanks

Hard to say. Many of these date to the 1940s or 1950s.

TallCakes is the EAPG expert here, if he sees this thread, he may drop a comment on it, if he can help.

I have this very same one although the stopper is a bit different.

I checked but can't seem to find a pattern with a matching beaded rib motif as here. The stopper here seems to be a later marriage.

JF, the pattern is known as "Christmas Pearls" and presumed to be by Jefferson Glass Company (I do not recall ever seeing catalog proof). Dates to the early 1900s. I believe it also comes in opalescent colors, too. That's not blown--the mark you see on the bottom is a scar from the manufacturing process called "cut shut" or "cut and shut."

Thank you all for the information. You are all so helpful and knowledgeable. I should have mentioned in the initial posting that I was uncertain of the stopper; the items were packed in the same box so I made the assumption that it belonged.
