So in trying to clear out some items from storage, I posted this Daisy B B gun on eBay, and to my surprise the listing was yanked. I had looked on eBay prior to posting and seen Daisy replacement parts for sale but no whole one like mine, I figured it was just a downtime for them, and stuck mine up there, got a lot of views in the short time it was up, then it was yanked and I was told via email from eBay admin that guns could only be listed by authorized dealers of some sort. The language was very careful as if afraid of causing offense. To the contrary, I called and apologized for posting a prohibited item, I hadn't thought of it as anything but a vintage collectible. It's been sitting in storage for something like forty years getting dusty and rusty, I had hoped to re-home it. Guess I'll have to find another venue. Thanks for looking.
Had the Daisy break action 177 cal pellet gun. Was my favorite Xmas gift ever.
I've had a couple of Daisy BB guns that I received from Santa on Christmas morning. I wish I still had them.
Sell your BB gun at American Airguns
There is no legal reason for evil-Bay to reject a BB gun. They have some weird people on their staff!
Found this info:

I had the same problem with eBay. It seems you can sell them but not if they actually work. I pulled the tube out of mine and reposted it as not working and offered the tube as a buyer incentive. I ended up with $125.
Fhr, kind of like people taping over a swastika to appease some idiots on evil-bay staff. No telling how many collector's items have been defaced by unknowing people to satisfy their quest to change history!
Thanks for the love, Caperkid, ttomtucker, jscott0363, blunderbuss2, Efesgirl, officialfuel, and fortapache. :)
Caperkid and jscott, you were the kind of buyers I was hoping to reach, someone who had good boyhood memories of their Daisy BB gun and would love to have this for themselves.
ttomtucker, thanks for the information, I will look into the venue, if they do auction style sales, then may try them.
Bonnie, thanks, yes they sent that policy to me when they notified me about the yank. My fault for not looking more closely into the matter.
fhrjr2, I really don't want to pull this little fellow apart. I'll have to find another venue, or put it back in storage.
blunderbuss, eBay has a clear written policy and I didn't follow it. Their site, their rules.
Thanks for the love, SEAN68, nutsabotas6, and Nicefice. :)
Thanks, Ken, I posted it here hoping it would bring back some great memories for the boys who owned them, glad it did for you. :)
