    Hi all:

I posted that old pic ( victorian ) lady a few days ago. I opened the back and there was some writing -- But does not help me any. Also the back hanging wire on the Back is Copper.....and it also looks like the board on the back is hand cut ( with a saw ?) to me.

Again, do not know what is written.....Looks like *Green Spandrel* but nothing comes that makes sense for that. Any idea on the words there on the back?

*** The lady PIC here is taken from out of the frame and from under the Glass.

Here is the old post of it Front and Pic:

I greatly enlarged and clarified the mystery name. I still don't know what it is.... :(

      Treaish
      Tresish
      Treaislt

LOL....I dunno! Maybe Kyra can make something of it. I somehow feel the name is of French origin. I'm probably wrong.....

OneGoodFind - yes, since you mentioned it and I looked again! I think you're right. The name looks very much like Prescott.

I can't see close enough, not that would make any difference but could it be military? I've read a lot of old post cards my mom had from the late 1800's and they even speak a different dialect in the US back then. The hand writing looks like some of those old postcards. There was nothing military in them though.

With a mug like that, if she diss'd in her time, I doubt even the family looked for her. Maybe this was trimmed from a mug-shot? LOL!! An image that should be printed on the rough side of sand paper so people know to keep the ugly side down! Sorry, but I'm on a roll!! LMAO!! You can't jog-off ugly!!
