I bought this for $35 at a thrift store and I love it...Its in excellent condition and is on wheels
The dresser is carved and looks like mohagany
I would like to know more about it...like how old and type of wood..

The front looks like a veneer wood . A Thin slice of wood glued to base wood .

      Empire STYLE.

Based on height and width-- it looks more typical of a 20th century version. Most likely 1920s- 30s.

Additional photos of the drawer side showing joint with drawer front and the back would be helpful to confirm.
