i believe it is a significant item due to texturing and coloring not to mention the differing patterns involved

I don't know if it's the same thing, but on T.V. the other day there was a demonstration where paint was dropped into the open end of clear Christmas balls then swirled around. This looks similar to the ones I saw.
It is very textured like blown glass...
I just got one like this (but green with painted pastel flowers) as a gift for my Christmas tree. It was new in a box. Handmade in Poland. TJMaxx sells them for $5.99. They are beautiful.
