this guy is heavy - nearly solid brass and 4" tall x 5" wide. is there such a thing as a Botero Brass elephant? that's just off the top of my head. probably 1970s or 60s? any ideas?

I have one of these too. I once saw a set of three this being the large, then a medium and a small. I wish I would got the set.

not really Celiene. i meant Botero. he did the fat people. i found a Bufano stone elephant last year and posted it. definitely not Bufano [who i LOVE].
Oh yeah - I know who you mean now! I live in Bufano country! His sculptures are all over the SF bay Area. Stanford Mall has a bunch.
i couldn't believe it when i found a small stone one at urban ore!
