I really love the work of Liuligongfang of Taiwan.
I think the whole background of the company is exciting and that they use lost wax casting to make their sculptures is so good.
This gorgeous and quirky piece is called: Crystal Rabbit Figurine, Lucky No. 8, Ascending Road of Splendor.
Liuli states this artwork represents or symbolizes Success, Victory, Wealth, Fortune, Prosperity.
Standing about 14cm tall this sculpture just glows and amuses!

Another beautiful piece of glass..love it!!.. we have allot of these little "DARLING" bunnies racing (squze the pun:) around at the moment and we are reaching for the long dark thing that shoots metal thingies..:-/

Lol Inky! I'm no big on bunnies myself except as cute pieces of glass or ceramic.
Calicivirus seems to not work anymore so those long thingies are a necessity.

Ivonne Liuli pieces have a very Chinese paradigm, and everything has meaning which is why they seem so unusual to us.
