This lovely old fan belonged to my grandmother, but I know know nothing of its previous history, it origin, value, etc.

It seems to be made of Papier-Mâche, and the fan itself is about 240mm in diameter. The front appears to be handpainted, and has two small chips from the edge. The reverse is a black lacquer which is starred.

The handle appears to be ivory, and is 205mm long, 15mm wide and 10mm thick. The total length of the fan is about 415mm.

Any advice would be appreciated - thanks.
