Another small but beautiful piece from yesterdays Salvation Army jewelry sorting. A dragonfly made with slender oval peacock Aurora Borealis crystals that sparkle in shades of green, blue, and purple with touches of gold. It's about 1.5" across the wings and has a small plaque on the back of the head stamped Austria. These could also be "Swarovski" crystals from Austria even though it doesn't have the "swan" mark that you usually see on contemporary pieces. -Mike-

Thanks everyone :)...DJ, Ken, Kyra, Bonnie, and Inky....@Ken yes it's fun to go through the donations, but out of a huge cardboard box this was the only piece I liked. I'm partial to dragonflies too Kyra and Inky. I'd love to find some Art Nouveau and Deco ones, but this is mostly what turns up in our area.
I was swimming on my back in the pool yesterday watching the dragonflies. This is gorgeous.
