Daum...strange all the way around....

This is a Daum 1918-1925 MODA piece signed in the iron work. Art nouveau holder and spatter glass acid frosted vase. It is small only 6 inches tall with the holder. I find it a bizarre piece as most of Daum MODA was caged or acid cameo with rather pitiful enameling. To have a Majorelle holder with MODA underlined stamped on the leaf has me a bit inquisitive because usually only the glass was marked and not the ironwork. Proves you can be collecting and reading for years and never see everything even with trips to glass museums all over the world.
