I believe this is another Tamiya kit which has been discontinued, for now at least.
The actual vehicle was made from 1952-1959 and based on the M41 light tank which is in the first photo. Armed with a dual 40MM anti-aircraft gun of WWII vintage it is doubtful if they were useful against jets although they would have been useful against helicopters. But in the Vietnam War they were used against ground troops which they did fairly well. Firing two pound shells rapid fire hiding behind a boulder, tree stump or mound of dirt did little good as they would be swept away.
In addition there was a .50 machine gun on the backside of the turret and an M60 .30 machine gun on the right front. It had a crew of six
I added a bit of vegetation to the tracks, looks like it could use some more.
