Large Mexican Pottery 'Basket'

This is a simple, utilitarian piece of Mexican pottery, probably not even very old. It's probably used to hold hot tamales in the marketplace, and was certainly not an expensive piece. but i really like the quick, simple designs [manganese?] to make it look like a basket. i really like this simple piece.
