So again here, this little perfume bottle was missing its stopper, and there is some cloudiness in the neck of the bottle, still that didn't keep me from admiring this beautiful little glass bottle. From what I've read, these bottles were typically found on the perfume counters of the local drug stores back in the fifties, imported from West Germany by Irving W Rice (Irice). Rice has been importing perfume bottles since the 20s, and was so methodical that it is easy to date the company's wares by era, Czech pre WWII, American during the war, West German post-war, Japan, and most recently, Taiwan. A little dime store bottle, but so beautifully made for what it is, and a bit of nostalgia associated with it made it worth the while. If anyone knows how to clean up the glass, please feel free to share. I hope you enjoyed seeing it, and thanks for looking.
Dental Tablets ?? Might they work ?? I do not know. What about CLR ( Calcium, Lime, Rust remover) as we can buy it here

Thanks Rose. It's easy enough to Google and find a million answers but which has been tried and tested by experts I trust? I'd rather ask here and know for sure. I didn't want to ruin the label so that's a consideration, too. :)

Gorgeous bottle...hope you find a stopper.
Is the cloudiness not from the stopper grind in the neck?
Thanks for the love, Efesgirl, aura, and Elisabethan. :)
Thanks, Karen, I hope I find the stopper, too. Yes, in the neck, that's the cloudiness, I thought there was internal cloudiness, too, but as I cleaned the exterior from old oils, I realized that the bottle was new and unused inside. It looks even more beautiful now. :)
Thanks for the love, SEAN68, nutsabotas6, and Radegunder. :)
Thanks, Ken, it is a beautiful bottle, more so now that it's been cleaned up, and yes, always nice to have a pretty sticker. I have researched IRICE more and it's amazing the variety of beautiful bottles this company has imported. I hope to come across a stopper for it one day. :)
Oh, and here is a Perfume Bottle I posted a while back -- with the I-Rice (import) label

Vintage items were quality!
Thanks for the love, Trey, and Elisabethan. :)
Thanks for the link, antiquerose, I'll take a look right now. :)
Thanks, kyratango, it looks beautiful now that it's cleaned up. Yes, imagine seeing something like this in a dime store! I'm hoping to find a stopper for it on eBay. :)
