This is a small green bowl that I got from an antique store because I liked the pattern. It has stars and circles with a scalloped edge. It measures 4 1/2" in diameter and is almost 2"deep. It does glow under a black light so I know its vaseline glass. Does anyone know the name of the pattern, the age, the maker or any information about it? I have searched but cannot find anything about it. Thanks!
this is a reproduction of an EAPG pattern called Priscilla and made by several companies. I think Fenton may have made some in green c1950s-60s.
Thank you TallCakes, I appreciate your response and the information you gave!!
Fenton did, indeed, make this pattern in green, among other colors. Incidentally, they called it "Priscilla" because that is what collectors at the time called the pattern, but the name given by the original maker (Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton) was Alexis. Original production was only in clear and decorated clear.
Thank you Paul71 for all the wonderful information. I really appreciate it all! I just love finding out all the information about my glass pieces.
Welcome, glad to know the history and information is appreciated.
It is greatly appreciated! I have many pieces and I love to know who made it and how old it is and some history about it too. I just love antiques so much and especially glass, it just amazes me that it made it all these years without getting broken. I treasure all my finds! Thanks again!
