Adamstown, PA - Mad Hatter Antiques

I did a quick walk through of this antiques collective housed in the old hat factory, and a few items caught my eye, notable these three Elvises. The building itself was neat because you could still see some of the old mechanical infrastructure of the hat factory (see photo).

Also, they were playing great music ("Kansas City Here I Come") rather than the usual antique mall Sinatra (who I don't mind in general, but hate in antique shops b/c its so cliche and unimaginative).

Part of my 2010 summer whirlwind east coast antiques tour.

Thanks for giving me a chance to respond! I have been surfing the net for years and have not found a bust of Elvis yet that even remotely looks like Elvis. I finally realized that the only way I would ever see a bust of Elvis that looked like Elvis, I would be to sculpt one of my own. And after seven years of continuous carving I finally accomplished my goal, and now have one fantastic Elvis to share with my friends and family! You'd love it!
