My mom recently gave us these jars, they were my Grandmother's. My Grandma got these back in the 1940s when she got married and kept the sugar and stuff in them. Two have holes in the top like salt and pepper shakers do. Growing up my mom always liked these little jars and my Grandma gave them to her years ago. My fiance has started collecting the uranium glass and this was his first pieces. We were telling my Mom about how the green glass glows and she thought of these little jars and said he could have them. They mean a lot to me since they were my Grandmother's and then my Mom's. You can find a lot of uranium glass at stores but these are the most valuable to me because I know the history of them. They will always be kept in a curio from now on.
Hazel Atlas, maybe? Other than holes is there anything else on the lids?
Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. There is only the holes and some roughness on the tops too from age and wear.
