A very large Sherman Alexandrite and Crystal bracelet. This bracelet is well over 2 inches in width. The stones which this piece was made were very carefully all set by hand, no glue. The best quality in the Costume Jewelry world. The set, or bracelet I mean, is also pictured in The Masterpiece Collection hardcover book on Sherman Jewellery, which is the last photo.
I have posted some pics so the last person who criticized me can rest in peace knowing that the piece is in my collection and not in her over critical imagination ! After seeing another person being criticized for spelling out the truth on this site today, I take compliments with a grain of salt, since there are people on this site who unfortunately want to bring others down, which when I joined I had been warned about but ... I have posted these images which are mine, and the piece is now in my collection. I bought it only the night before last and already in my hands early this afternoon. I had seen another one almost a year ago and it sold for hundreds more. It was not a good time to buy but these come on for sale so rarely, I had to have some conviction to buy this very expensive piece. Our dollar is so low right now that it was 750 Canadian. A rare color and the images are mine to use as I see fit and an extra image with a few of my precious Brook Bond albums.

So in awe of these Sherman pieces. We had a former CW member who had an incredible collection. Unfortunately he left over some drama that occasionally plagues this site. There's wonderful helpful people here and that far out weight the Grinches, but sometime you have to don the body armor. :)
Yes mikelv85 I realize there was a negative remark on my last post by a katherine who seems to have trouble with someone from her past. I imagine she should not go on someone else's page if she has relationship problems or is schizoid. There seems to be some people on this site that like to cause trouble for other people's postings.

I have never seen any Sherman in real life - I would love to. This (and your other pieces) are just so beautiful and incredibly well made. It feels wrong for me to put this in the costume jewellery group - the work is too good (yeah, I know the stones are not real but that is meaningless to me!)
You must just sit and handle this in admiration.
(purple is the BEST colour)
