Found this after many, many years. This doll was given away by Harlequin Reader Service through their Bonus Bucks promotions. I saved the necessary and sent for the doll. When it came I opened the box, looked at it and then shut it and put it away in a closet.
The box for this doll does not have a postmark. It is a white box with this information: PC#704/ Item No: 18012 / Qty: 1 PC / Made in China. Inside the white cardboard is the white box with "Harlequin Collectibles printed on it.
The doll is still in the original shipping carton and packing materials; I took it off for a couple seconds to take the picture. As shown the arms and legs are all individually wrapped. She has never been out of the box. She is about 18 inches tall.
I tried to find a value for the doll, but I can't find it at all on EBAY or any other sites. Is the doll worth keeping, giving away?
I have two others I am putting up from the same program and would appreciate any information.
She's a beauty. :)
here is one that did not sell for 24.99 . These types of dolls have lost their value and only a few select Doll artist dolls have retained a portion of what they originally cost . The others are a hard sell as they were so mass produced in 80's and 90's with hopes they would gain in value like a antique bisque doll but that did not happen as price on antique dolls dropped these types of porcelain are not collected and I see may at thrift shops for 5.00 :-(
