Looking for any info anyone might have about this item. I found it at a local Resale place and left it but couldn't stop thinking about it for a full weekend and went back and, luckily, it was still there. It was sold as a piece of Depression Glass but I'm not so sure. It stands 7 1/4" high and the bowl is 9 1/2" wide. The bowl itself is one single piece of pressed glass with what looks like a sunflower in the center. The base stands 4 1/4" high and does appear to have a seam in it as if the glass were joined there. The bottom of the base looks somewhat like the open pattern of a piece of lace. Color changes with the light. In the photo's looks gold but also tends to have a pinkish tint as well. There was another piece on this site recently that was discussed as being "Tiara Glass" that was similar but isn't quite the same. I love the piece and would love to know more about it. Pattern, time frame made, maker anything I can get my hands on. Thanks.

This is Westmoreland's 'Princess Feather' and from your photos the colors looks like 'Golden Sunset', which is a peachy amber. Here's my cake stand in same pattern and color:

TallCakes, thanks so much for the info. I have always liked Depression Glass but don't really collect anything. This piece was just so unique that I had to go back and get it. I was really surprised that it was still there. Love your cake stand and I agree with you, the color is amazing. I have never seen anything like it. I will have to try and hunt down more of these pieces. I live in the desert so "depression" style glass is at a minimum however there is always Ebay and other sites!! Thanks again for the info. You made my day and it was only on this site for about 10 minutes before you responded :)!!

thank you all for the kind words : ) tho' I don't proclaim to be an expert; just developed a knack for research and have gleaned bits of wisdom from some the anointed experts. And I don't mind sharing my opines, and hope that others will then diligently confirm (or dispute) my suggestions. Okay, maybe sometimes my opines are more than suggestions...
