I'm hoping someone can verify this mark on the clasp. I would be over the moon if this bracelet is a Rhoda Wager bracelet. I'm really looking very hard to get one of her pieces, this bracelet ticks all the boxs. I've put ( circle of ) because Rhoda had so many people working for her, if it isn't hers its a lovely piece of work regardless.
Many thanks for looking.
Yes, it is beautiful! I'm not an Opal person, but this is really lovely.
Very beautiful indeed!
The opals are so nice too.
Splendid opals! Love the color.
This is just beautiful!
I appreciate all your kind comments, Elesgirl, kyra, Bluboi and shareurpassion, many thanks.
I love the kaleidoscope of colors in the opals Jean!
Hi Rick, thanks for your comment, and popping by :-)
Hi Jewels1900 and Kiwipaul, I know your both very knowledgeable about Australian art and art jewellery. I was wondering if you have any idea of the silver Mark on the clasp.
Oops, in the comment above I meant art and craft, not art and art, lol.
Many thanks

Hi Jean, the good news is well done on getting your bracelet. These types of bracelets have been getting really rare over the years. It's not Wager for many of the same reasons the pendant isn't. I've seen this work before but never the stamp.
These are great to wear, I've been wearing mine recently which is a little later than yours but with a similar variegated leaf.
Hi Jewel1900, thanks for your comment, do you have any idea were I could find out more about the mark. I was thinking maybe sending a email to Powerhouse Museum, would you think it would be worth a try?
Hi Jean, you could try the Powerhouse but I don't think they'd know. It would be hard to find out I think - mainly because I don't know what it actually is.
More often than not, these pieces are not marked.
Hi Jewels1900, I have been told that Powerhouse Museum aren't very helpful, so I think I'll give it a miss, thanks for your help.
Hi Jean, the archives are great but it's more you have to go in. I don't think they have a specialist available.
Well I shall have to make a visit to Oz :-) How are you?
Jewels1900 Have you seen my new Dorrie Nossiter addition?
Many thanks

What a stunning opal bracelet, thanks for sharing this, Peasejean. :)
Your very welcome katherinescollections, thanks for your lovely compliment.
Hello there......I have this mark on the screw backs of a pair of 9ct gold drop earrings....H (bird symbol possibly a hawk?) P. The drop part of the earrings are marked HAWKE 9ct......I believe they are Australian..... hope this might help! Your bracelet is beautiful!!!
TassieDevil, thanks for the information, it's a lead I'll look into :-)
Oh great..... there was also a " house of hawke" jewellers.....not sure if this is the same jeweller! And also found a possible connection in Abrecht Bird Jewellers. Hope you can find some info from this. Regards, Judy
Thanks TassieDevil, when I have time I'll research it.
Many thanks
