This was my father in-laws desk. I don't recall the history on it as my husband passed away. It is heavy oak, finished sections all around. I'm not sure if it is S or C-curved? Wooden pegs hold the top section of the roll top onto desk. The entire desk comes apart in sections and is very easy to move.
I'd like to find out what year or close to what year this is such as 19th century or 1800's. This desk measurements are approx. 31 height, 30 1/2 depth, 48 length across front of desk.
One picture doesn't say much but it is enough to tell it isn't old. By old I am comparing my age to the age of the desk. I am old. I am not and antique (yet) and neither is this desk.
Have you checked for any manufacture's marks all around? We recently had one like that (someone gave theirs to us), it was very well made, solid oak, etc, but it was made in China, to my shocking discovery.
